O& P Technology Net Zero Engineer (m/f/d)

The O&P Technology Net Zero Engineer works closely with the site engineers and technology groups to evaluate Net Zero technology options meet the 2050 goal. The role will support the Sr. Manager, Global O&P Net Zero Technology in developing pathways to Net Zero that align with sustainability and business goals with consideration to technology innovation.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Provide support to complete detailed analysis on enabling technologies that support Net Zero pathways for Olefins technologies
• Model the enabling Decarb technologies for the Olefins sites located in the US and EU
• Integration and alignment with support groups to gain alignment on the pathways
• Provide support and guidance to regional sites for CO2 reduction initiatives to ensure alignment with the Zero GHG options
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• About 10 years of process engineering experience with exposure to Olefins technologies
• Modelling experience with Olefins processes and energy balances
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
