For our European Olefins optimization & planning team in either Wesseling / Münchsmünster, Germany or Berre / Fos, France or Rotterdam, Netherlands we are looking for a

Information Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Ensure a high availability of A01 key business and operational functions, maintain and develop these ones according to business and operational stakeholder needs:
  • Short time / daily / monthly mass balancing and process information used in month end close,
  • The energy management module is part of ISO 50001 certificate for the Wesseling site and crucial for energy tax exemptions,
  • The CO2 management module is essential for EU CO2 emission trading and cost optimization,
  • The A01 market quotations module is used as central price information platform for optimization & commercial purposes,
  • The A01 SAP interface module is used for Purchase-, Sales-Orders, Good Receipts, Good Issues, Activity posting and price settings,
  • The Echo system is a third party software hosted on LYB servers for the European Rail Tank Car management and is critical to ensure a flawless 24/7 RTC loading operation at European LYB sites.
• Assure compliance with SOx, local / regional (legal) authorities, accountancy policies, ISO50001
• Control the fixed costs in order to stay within approved budget
• Work closely with the senior IT product analyst leading a program to develop and execute a long-term strategy to host A01 functions in a future-proof platform

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, chemical engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a business, an operational or an IT role in the petrochemical industry
• General software development skills.  Experience with at least one major programming language, e.g. Java, C++.  Additional skills in VBA, SAP BAPI are a plus
• Database expertise, Oracle is a plus
• Experience with Process Historian / Manufacturing Execution Systems, e.g. OSIsoft PI, AspenTech IP.21
• Fluent in English
