Basic Function
  • Partners with project teams through the Advancing 90 methodology to fundamentally redesign experiences to create new sources of value, digitally reinvent operations for greater efficiency and transform processes through outcome-focused activities  
  • Integrates self into product/process owner’s environment to effectively manage project scope and related activities within given constraints of time, quality and budget
  • Serve as a facilitator for both product/process owners, cross functional team members and stakeholders to bring discipline to agile approaches and drive towards sustainable improvements
  • Responsible for improving the operational efficiency of business areas/functions by developing and implementing long-range strategic plans as well as benchmarking performance against best-in-class.
  • Operational responsibilities (i.e. project marketing/advocacy, end-user training, management reporting, compliance monitoring and functional gap closure) in support of LyondellBasell’s digital roadmap
Roles, Responsibilities and Key Requirements

Activities and duties will vary dependent upon functional area assigned.  Activities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Organizes various process design activities within the organization to improve operational efficiency and lower cost of operations (inclusive of designing solutions aligned with functional roadmaps and ensuring integration with other projects, systems and processes)
  • Organizes and facilitates agile activities for assigned teams e.g. brainstorming and planning exercises, roadmap planning, daily stand ups, business reviews
  • Displays high proficiency in Enterprise system applications. Applies analytical tools to anticipate and solve problems in a timely fashion. Analyzes complex data, identifies anomalies and provides information in a user-friendly format.
  • Assist project team development e.g. ensure accountability for commitments, roadblock removal, leveraging organizational resources, mentoring team agility
  • Displays high proficiency in partnering with cross-functional teams in complex programs or initiatives.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement to enhance effectiveness and best practice sharing
Min. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics or Technical Field

  • Evidential problem solving and analytical capabilities
  • Demonstrated experience successfully implementing change management strategies and techniques. 
  • Demonstrated program management experience successfully implementing business processes across functional areas and geographies.
  • Exceptional facilitation skills to gain and maintain alignment, transparency of process, results and trust
  • Team oriented; strong organizational and oral/written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications

MBA or Master degree

  • 1-3 years of commercial experience and/or planning, evaluation and business analysis experience in a client facing role.  Consulting experience
  • Certifications as a Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), and/or Project Management Agile Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
