PAD Manager CCS - Vadodara

BASIC FUNCTION

Responsible for translating market requirements on the needs of new products into a development process of new masterbatches for specific country locations and aligned with the company’s vision and mission to exceed customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Contributes to a safe work environment aligned with corporate standards and expectations to achieve Goal Zero target.
• Maintain and monitor documented information in Product Application Development (PAD) respective area is updated to meet Operatinal Excellence, Quality Management System, and Environment Management Standard.
• Establish Adavance Polymer Solution technology leadership to get more idea for product development.
• Support sales requests related to new product development and product localization to support business growth.
• Performing masterbatch development following Accolade stages gate process / regional procedure, manage the project (monitor the gate advancement and project duration) to meet ISO standard and  support business growth.
• New products/formula registration and support production scale up.
• Provide supporting documents such as a provisional technical data sheet on the approved/new products, composition declaration to support new product launch.
• Support new raw material approval process by performing qualification test of raw materials / finished goods to Improve margin / maximize value and procurement risk mitigation.
• Improve customer satisfaction and manufacturing support by reviewing analysis report related to technical service activities and QN/custoner complaint investigation.
• Oversee the operation of PAD lab/ Technical center and improve its smoothness with coordination among PAD team.
• Improve skills and knowledge of PAD team by identifying training need analysis & provide related training.
• Improve cost management by controlling cost within the budgeted value.

EDUCATION

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science, Polymer or other relevant qualification. Master's & doctorate will be preferable.

• Technical skills in knowledge of polymer/plastics extrusion, pigments, and additives, basic organic chemistry, and analytical chemistry.
