Maintenance Technician

Basic Function

• Be in charge of regular inspction of equipment and implement equipment preventive & predictive maintenance plan.
• To prepare purchase plan of spare parts.
• The primary objective is to be completely responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance of overall plant & utility equipment, attend equitment breakdowns, timely identication of root cause of equipment breakdown and reduce internal unplanned downtime and related losses.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assure daily operation is in line with HSE requirement and Operational Excellence standard.
• Maintain good 5S in workshop as per the basic requirement.
• Responsible for the entire plant high and low voltage distribution operation and maintenance, carried out  according to maintenance requirements.
• Implement the mechanical & electrical maintenance activities with respect to the preventive and predictive maintenance plan to ensure continuous availability of equipment and reduction in internal unplanned downtime.
• Ensure and maintain critical spares availability at any point of time to avoid major shut down of the equipment.
• Responsible for Maintenance of factory fire-fighting system & the incoming water system to meet  HSE standards and be ready for the emergency equipment works.
• Keep track by maintaining equipment maintenance record in timely manner.
• On time support for installation and debuging of equipment for new production line.
• Reduce the consumption of air, water and electricity to achieve the goal of energy conservation and emission reduction by improving functioning of plant equipment & plant utilities.
• Adhere to ISO:9001:2015, IATF & EMS 14001 : 2015 standards and comply with requirement, and responsible for maintenance records and document updates.
• Preparation of Daily Maintenance report to ensure recording & monitoring of Maintenance performance.
• Sharing ideas or suggestion for reduction of fixed and varibale cost to enhance the value creation.

Required Qualification

Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience and Skills

• 3 to 5 years experience in Maintenance department from multi-national or equivalent company
• Have strong Health, Safety and Enviornment work exposure & housekeeping awareness.
• Be familiar with PLC and operation. Be familiar with mechanical automation, electrical diagram, maintenance and operation.
• Be familiar with construction and principles of extruder and accessories having experience on maintenance and trouble shooting.
• Be familiar with management of process equipment and accessories, be able to analyze root cause of problem and fix basic/regular problems independently.
• Be familiar with all Utility equipment’s like Transformer, VCB, ACB, DG, Compressor, Cooling tower, STP, ETP, RO plant system, DE/FE/CVS system and firefighting system.
• Hands on experience on SAP system for PM module.
• Having experience of Quality Management system & Environmental management system.
