HR Generalist

Basic Function

The HR Generalist will support all aspects of human Resources areas such as HRMS, data analysis, HR reporting, employee recruiting, talent management, performance management, succession planning, onboarding programs, general HR policies and procedures, training and development and various ad hoc projects across Asia and AfMEI.
This position reports to the HR Manager for Asia O&P, I&D and Supply Chain.

Roles & Responsibilities

HRBP and Hong Kong Country Operations Support
•    Assist assigned HRBPs in multiple major HR processes such as:-
o    provide support in workforce planning process, recruiting activities, and all employment-related initiatives, proactively managing headcount from “Notification of opening” to completion of requisition process
o    provide support to internal clients in job descriptions with guidance from HRBP, support clients in talent selection, placement decisions, corrective actions, transfers, and employment actions.
o    provide support in the process of performance management; provide guidance  to managers and employees on setting goals, keep employees accountable for their performance, ensure performance and development feedback process are in place; Ensure poor performance and misconduct are addressed.
o    Identify, develop, organize and coordinate development and training initiatives and programs that support leadership initiatives,  and employee development. Closely involved in managing the Training Records update.
o    Partner with internal clients to create positive working environment, team working.  Manage and ensure positive employee relations; Support the communication of company strategies and policies to employees; Listen to employee’s concerns & complaints, Plans and supports teambuilding activities to support the positive environment working of employee.
•    Manage Employee information and analytics, including managing positions, Employee Data, Time and Attendance, Work from Home record.
•    Support the preparation of business plan for client groups 
•    Support general HR administrative duties including creation of PR in SAP to settle payments from HR vendors.
•    Create PO and service entry for all payment in SAP system
•    Create new vendor account in Ariba SLP
•    HK payroll operation backup

Learning and Development 
•    Organize learning and Development activities according to the plan and responsible for training coordination and logistics
•    Responsible for creating and maintaining training records; ensure the data accuracy. 
•    Prepare pre and post training reports including training needs analysis, maintain training budget and spending record, usage statistics for all programs run in Asia Pacific and AfMEI countries including corporate and local trainings, collect training feedback, consolidate and prepare training related data, support the assigned trainings follow up actions.
•    Support the Orientation Program coordination and logistics for APAC 


Data Analytics 
•    Support the data analysis and reporting for talent review, performance management, learning and training, workforce planning and other HR major process
•    Preparation of monthly/quarterly HR reports on workforce analytics including workforce planning, new hire, attrition and open positions reporting.

HRMS System
•    As HR system super-user to input and submit employee movements while ensuring data integrity and accuracy 
•    System data regular health check before running fit for purpose reports

Other Support
•    Participate in HR initiatives and ad hoc projects as assigned 

Min. Qualifications

Education:
•    Bachelor's degree with a preference in Business Administration or Human Resources Management

Work Experience: 
•    1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in HR field

Licenses & Certifications:
•    Professional certification in Human Resources is preferred

Technical Skills:
•    SAP SuccessFactor or other HR system experience preferred
