Testing Technician Performance Materials

Basic Function

He/she is responsible to execute the daily test of samples provided by internal and external customer requirements, record the test results, draft test report, maintain the test equipment and support on the equipment management, manage the lab documentation, adhere to the ISO 17025 lab management system.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Contributes to a safe work environment aligned with corporate standards and expectations.
• Execute the daily test of samples provided by internal and external customers.
  • Have a strong sensitivity to data, provide quick feedback while abnormal occurs.
• Provide credible test results clearly and timely base on professional operation and methods, to make sure all the test results correct and  available, easy to be obtained and tracked. Draft the test report for the customer requirement.
• Conduct daily check, intermedia check and regular calibration for the equipment,  to make sure  equipment at good and reliable status for test and ensure all spare parts in control.
  • Draft the work instruction on the new equipment operation, update all WI timely.
• Adhere to the lab management system and manage the process optimization work in her/his respective fields, assist on internal audit, management review and external accreditation.
• Assist on lab improvement to meet the development requirement.
• Maintain good and proactive interaction with internal and external customers to understand requests and to give timely feedback.

Min. Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor or college degree

Work Experience: 

• Fresh bachelor's degree, or college degree with at least 5 years’ work experience
• Be skilled in documentation management.

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor or college degree，major in polymer materials, chemical analysis is a plus.

Work Experience: 

• 1-3 years of work experience with a bachelor's degree in polymer test, or college degree with at least 5 years’ work experience, be skilled in physical and mechanical test, heat ageing, gloss, scratch etc. is preferred.
• Knowledge of IATF16949 /ISO17025.

Licenses & Certifications:

• ISO17025 Internal Auditor Certificate

• Communication skills: Ability to communicate professionally with people within internal and external contacts.
• Priority setting: Be able to prioritize all detailed work, focus on urgent and important tasks, and complete all defined goals according to the activity planning. 

Skills:

• Basic IT skills, Basic IT capabilities (e-mail, EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT).

Languages:

• Good technical reading/writing skills, both in Chinese and English.
