Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic Regional Demand Planning Lead to oversee the end-to-end demand planning function for our PPC and EP business in APAC region which is about 70% of the finance contribution in 2025. This role will lead demand planning cycles, drive monthly S&OP processes, monitor forecast and supply performance, champion process improvements, and serve as the regional demand planning expert—collaborating cross-functionally with sales, business, and supply planning teams to deliver accurate forecasts, align demand-supply plans with business goals, and support senior leadership with data-driven strategic recommendations.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Lead the end-to-end demand planning cycle for APAC, collaborating with sales and business teams to develop a consensus, unconstrained 24-month forecast. Integrate historical sales data, customer insights, pipeline project updates, market intelligence, and company strategy to ensure forecasts are accurate, forward-looking, and aligned with business goals.
• Facilitate and drive the monthly S&OP process for APAC. Partner closely with the regional supply planning team to identify forecast constraints, assess business impacts, and define actionable resolution plans. Ensure demand and supply plans are aligned to deliver business objectives.
• Track forecast accuracy metrics (e.g., MAPE, bias) and key supply performance (on time delivery, inventory, aging stock). Collaborate with the sales team to conduct root-cause analysis for forecast deviations, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement in forecast quality. Coordinate with supply planning team to optimize supply plans and maintain healthy inventory levels.
• Champion process enhancements to streamline demand planning workflows, adopt advanced forecasting tools/methodologies, and strengthen cross-functional alignment. Ensure APAC demand planning practices meet global standards and scale effectively as the business grows.
• Serve as the regional expert on demand planning, providing clear, data-driven insights to senior leadership. Translate complex forecast trends, risks, and opportunities into strategic recommendations to support critical business decisions (e.g., capacity planning, product allocation, market expansion).
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Education
• University bachelor degree.
Work Experience
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a demand planning role, with demonstrated expertise in leading end-to-end demand planning cycles and a proven track record of developing accurate, consensus-driven forecasts with a 24-month horizon.
• Profound understanding of demand planning principles and S&OP/IBP frameworks, with the ability to apply these concepts effectively in day-to-day operations.
• Strong data analysis capabilities and excellent communication skills, enabling the translation of complex forecast data, trends, and insights into clear, actionable, data-driven recommendations for senior leadership.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management abilities, with a proven track record of building effective partnerships across teams.
• Previous supply planning experience is highly desirable and considered a valuable plus.
Languages
• Fluent English and Chinese for both speaking and writing, any Asian country language is a plus
Other skills
• Proven data analysis capability, Strong in Excel, Knowledge in advance BI tool (e.g., PBI) is a plus
