Product Stewardship & HSE Manager,China

Basic Function

The purpose of the job is to develop and implement programs within China in order to comply with company’s policies and procedures in Product Stewardship, HSE, Logistics Compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

1) Develop and implement I&D Product Stewardship Program in China.

2) Monitor China’s HSE regulation and take actions to comply with the regulation.

3) Analyze logistical accident trend in China and develop accident reduction strategies.

4) Conducts third parties safety audit

5) Conducts regular product safety & HSE training to third parties. Set up HSE KPI and regularly assess they are complying with our safety standards

6) Develops, implements and continuously communicates safety programs to protect employees, contractors, and customers.

Min. Qualifications

Education:
University degree in in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering

Work Experience:
At least 8-10 years relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing plant in China

Licenses & Certifications:
Certified Safety Engineer

Skills:
1. Professional knowledge in Product Stewardship, industrial safety, industrial hygiene and environmental
protection.
2. Good knowledge and ability to respond promptly and accurately to emergencies.
3. Strong leadership and communications skills.

Languages:
1. Fluent in Mandarin and English, written and oral.
