Accountant

Basic Function

The purpose of the job is to process net back transfer pricing and perform cost reconciliation with JV counterpart on a weekly basis, analyze the variances and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for setting up the standard cost of purchased goods, validate and analyze the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close
  • Calculate net back transfer pricing and perform cost reconciliation with JV counterpart on a weekly or month basis
  • Be responsible to prepare rebate calculation file and get the confirmation from cross function header and make sure the approval process and documents related to rebate are appropriately managed
  • Be responsible for FIFO adjustment entry and perform variance analysis such as purchase price to cost variance, cost revaluation, invoice to PO price variances
  • Perform obsolete inventory review and year-end physical verification of stocks
  • Work closely and partner with CS and JV partner to monitor, track and improve the costing process and inventory accuracy
  • Operating costs recharge to intercompany for O&P, APS, Catalyst and Licensing businesses
  • Actively participate in internal and external audits to provide require information
  • Support projects on accounting related process

Personal Specification


Education:
•    Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance or related discipline

Work Experience: 
•    At least 2 years’ relevant experience in finance and accounting area
•    Working experience in a multinational company environment, with ability to operate in diverse cultures
•    Experience in share service center and excellent in SAP system is a plus

Licenses & Certifications:
•    professional accounting certification such as Certified Public Accountant / Charted Accountant is preferred
