Payroll Analyst

Basic Function

Provide support in personnel payroll processes based on applicable laws and the company's internal procedures to ensure compliance with employer obligations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Validate incidents in TRESS system for calculating weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll for employees.
  • Assist in various payroll processes to calculate benefits according to their frequency. Calculate employees' annual tax.
  • Support the calculation of employer and employee contributions for IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, and local taxes to ensure compliance.
  • Calculate the occupational risk premium for companies in Mexico. Calculate severance payments and terminations for employees, including the generation of checks and coordination of the payment process to meet legal requirements.
  • Assist in the administration of HR systems to comply with current procedures. Integrate employee benefit information to ensure proper compliance.
  • Provide support in submitting information on the portals of various government agencies (IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, FINANCES, etc.).
  • Support employee payroll queries. Assist with payroll information requests from external clients to IMSS, INFONAVIT, and local tax audit purposes. Support the tax and finance department with their internal information requirements.
  • Prioritize personal safety in any required activity.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with various government laws and regulations (LFT, IMSS, FONACOT, ISR, INFONAVIT, FINANCES, etc.)
  • Knowledge of payroll and benefits calculation process.
  • Proficiency in TRESS system, SUA, and government portals.
  • Experience in handling internal and external audits.

 

Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management or related field.

 

Work Experience 
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position. 
- 3 years or more in payroll and benefits. 
- 3 years or more in Administration of IMSS, SUA, FINANCE, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, TRESS Payroll System, etc.

 

Languages: Advanced English
