Come Join an Inclusive Team
Act as the central point of contact for Human Resources and labor-related matters for leaders and employees, providing expert advice and fostering trust-based relationships. Coordinate the implementation, maintenance, and compliance with current labor legislation, as well as the design and standardization of labor legal processes. Ensure healthy labor relations between the union and the company, in alignment with both local and corporate organizational strategies.
A Day in the Life
- Act as a strategic HR partner enabling short- and long-term business objectives in alignment with corporate policies, labor regulations, and organizational priorities.
- Advise leaders and employees on HR and labor-related matters, applying a preventive approach while effectively managing reactive and corrective situations.
- Design and execute labor relations strategies to safeguard the company’s interests, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and managing interactions with labor authorities (e.g., STPS, IMSS, etc.) and external legal firms.
- Maintain effective labor union relationships, day-to-day labor interactions, coordinating collective bargaining negotiations and leveraging internal labor intelligence to proactively manage risks and support business continuity, ensuring stable and compliant labor relations
- Develop, implement, and ensure consistent application of internal labor policies, identifying gaps and mitigating legal and operational risks.
- Support talent and performance management processes, succession planning, annual salary reviews, and workforce decisions in line with business needs and legal requirements.
- Jointly with management, design and oversee the Occupational Health and Safety agenda and ensure effective delivery of employee services, including cafeteria and transportation, coordinating vendors and service providers.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations and key stakeholders to ensure effective HR processes, data accuracy, KPI tracking, and high-quality employee services.

Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Administrative areas, Human Resources, Labor Law, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
Work Experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with strong emphasis on labor relations, union management, and collective bargaining environments.
- Proven experience managing labor compliance, employment law application, and interactions with labor authorities (e.g., STPS, IMSS) and external legal counsel.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating employee services, including cafeteria and transportation vendors, ensuring service quality, regulatory compliance, and cost control.
- Solid background in HR operations, workforce planning, and employee lifecycle processes, supported by the use of SAP applications and advanced Excel.
- Experience working in unionized and industrial/manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.
