As a Sales Account Manager in LYB’s Advanced Polymer Solutions business, you will have the opportunity to drive meaningful commercial impact, build influential customer partnerships, and help industry‑leading companies innovate with next‑generation engineered plastics.

This is a high‑visibility, high‑impact role for a driven commercial professional ready to lead strategic accounts, grow new business, and represent a trusted brand known for technical excellence and collaboration.

A Day in the Life

As a key commercial leader in your territory, you will:

• Own and grow a strategic portfolio of customers and prospects, delivering solutions that create measurable value.

• Promote and position APS’s engineered plastics portfolio, articulating product characteristics that align with customer needs and specifications.

• Develop strong, trust‑based customer relationships through in‑person engagement, integrity, and exceptional service.

• Collaborate cross‑functionally with product management, technical, supply chain, and commercial teams to bring resources and solutions forward for customers.

• Lead pricing and contract negotiations, ensuring agreements align with business objectives and value capture targets.

• Actively participate in annual business planning, helping shape commercial strategy.

• Deliver accurate forecasts and support demand planning across divisions.

• Ensure compliance in all commercial processes, including contracts, pricing, and documentation.

• Communicate regularly with leadership and peers through weekly calls, reporting, and sales meetings.

• Consistently execute APS business goals, meeting and exceeding sales expectations.

• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new opportunities and track progress through Salesforce.
