This is the role
As Technical Training & Development Manager you will be part of the Global Organizational Capability and Process Efficiency and have responsibility to implement global and regional manufacturing technical training programs, processes and initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders at the sites and in corporate groups to understand business needs and metrics and implement solutions to enable the business value. The Manager has a team of direct reports to lead and develop them.
Approximately 25% travelling within Europe is part of this challenging job.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the EU team direct reports and support their development plans with training, exposure and job assignments;
- Apply project management skills to ensure scope alignment, and effective and efficient delivery;
- Align solutions to support the company’s objectives of value enhancement along with the culture elements;
- Integrate change management to get buy-in and ownership of existing and new solutions;
- Utilize the stakeholder engagements to identify capability needs as well as process efficiency opportunities that can be shared with the owners of that workstream in the team;
- Support facilitation of global training programs such as Engineer U and Manufacturing Leadership program;
- Facilitate the EAI training specialist network to share best practices and provide coaching;
- Develop and maintain close business partnerships with internal stakeholders to understand the business drivers and ensure the training programs are driving the value;
- Perform needs analysis and training evaluations to ensure training and program effectiveness;
- Keep abreast of internal and external trends in training and development to learn and apply best practices to mature our programs to be industry shaping.

This is what you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields such as Engineering, Training and Development, Organizational Psychology are preferred;
- 10+ years’ experience required in the manufacturing and/or learning & development industry;
- Fluency in English is a must and any other language is a plus.
