This is the role

The Global Asset Integrity & Turnaround (GAI&T) organization has oversight responsibilities for the planning and execution of turnaround events.  
As Turnaround Scoping Coordinator you will support the turnaround scope development. This position also assists with scope vetting, prioritization, and facilitation of the risk-based scope challenge process, assists with turnaround improvement, optimization efforts, and supports the turnaround assurance process to ensure compliance to global processes. The position resides in (GAI&T) and will require business travel around 20% - 30% travel within Europe.

Some core responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to enable the organization to achieve GoalZERO HSE performance;
• Serves as a turnaround scoping process expert;
• Coaches, trains, and influences scope sponsors at sites within Europe;
• Audits work activities in turnarounds to verify compliance of company standards and federal regulations;
• Identifies opportunities and recommends improvements to existing turnaround practices;
• Communicates status, key performance indicators and metrics.

• Ability to work under minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple/changing priorities 
• Exceptional analytical skills to effectively evaluate system performance and troubleshoot continuous process improvement tools
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface with and relate complex concepts/issues with all levels
• Excellent leadership, mentoring and team work skills with the ability to effectively transfer technical expertise to less experienced turnaround professionals

This is what you bring

• Vocational level (MBO+) technical education or Bachelor’s level;
• Minimum 15 years of experience in a process plant or comparable environment is required. 10 years of prior turnaround, project, operations, or maintenance coordination experience preferred;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, SAP, and Archer skills preferred;
• English required; any other languages (particularly Dutch, German, Italian, French or Spanish) a plus.
