This is the role

As a member of the Global Treasury Operations team, this position holds the overall responsibility for ensuring Operational Excellence within the team and ensuring compliance with both internal and external guidelines and regulations. Key tasks involve creating and maintaining efficient Treasury Operations policies and procedures, implementing consistent processes and controls worldwide, executing regulatory reporting, optimizing systems efficiency, and leading various treasury projects. This role is a hands-on, global position with a dedicated resource based in the US who will take direction from this role.

As the Senior Manager, Treasury Operational Excellence & Controls, you will collaborate closely with other members of the Treasury Operations team to coordinate tasks and operations. Regular communication will be necessary with various functional groups within the global Treasury and CFO group, Internal Control and Internal Audit Groups, Legal, IT group, and potential cooperation with external banking partners and IT vendors.

•    Develop and implement new policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
•    Lead, coordinate and participate in small or bigger treasury projects.
•    Responsible for driving system improvements and in cooperation with IT team implementing new system solutions, that enhance competitive advantages, quality, and overall operational excellence.
•    Implement SOX and internal controls and processes consistently across the globe.
•    Ensure compliance with external regulations and execution of external compliance reporting, ie EMIR, FBAR, etc.
•    Ensure processes compliance with internal controls and Group’s Delegation of Authority.
•    Validate quarterly required SOX controls.
•    Manage relationships with internal, external audit and internal control teams.
•    Participate in project meetings o/o Treasury Operations to help define project scope and objectives and facilitate project meetings across all levels of stakeholders.
•    Coordinate quarterly SAP testing.
•    Responsible for SAP limit management.
•    Prepare reports on operational performance (KPIs).
•    Track and report global banking fees.
•    Review quarterly access rights in the banking software. 
•    Create and maintain an onboarding plan for the new members of the team and monitoring status of implementation.

This is what you bring

•    Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or MBA.
•    Minimum 13 years of experience in a multinational corporate Treasury department.
•    Solid experience with SAP.
•    Solid project management experience.
•    Lean Six Sigma certification.
•    Advanced computer literacy in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and Power-BI.
•    Experience with banking software and other Treasury Management Systems.
•    Fluent in English orally and in writing.
