This is the role
LyondellBasell is significantly stepping-up its sustainability commitments, execution and visibility with ambitious corporate sustainability strategies and targets. The role of the Senior consultant Sustainable procurement, Due Diligence is responsible for the performance measurement & monitoring and the industrialization of the supply chain due diligence requirements. This position acts as a Senior Consultant to the Sustainable Procurement Team as part of Global Procurement. It reports to the Global Sustainable Procurement Lead.
Responsibilities & accountabilities:
- Own and monitor the Sustainable Procurement performance management and reporting process (KPI measurement)
- Responsible for the Supplier Risk Mapping Process and Due Diligence
- Focus on implementation and compliance with the Supply Chain Due Diligence Acts requirements
- Drive digitization of Sustainable Procurement target measurements and automation
- Conduct data research for a due diligence by analyzing supplier contribution
- Leads the sustainability assessment and audit process leveraging Ecovadis and Together for Sustainability
- Work collaboratively across global functions to secure consensus from senior leaders and their teams to embed sustainability into their ways of working
- Deliver engaging communication with internal partners, and suppliers
Afterhours work to meet deliverable due dates is required as needed.
This position can be filled in either our location in Rotterdam or Wesseling.

This is what you bring
- Graduate / Business or Engineering School or MBA and at least 5-7 years in Industry and/or consulting industry
- Several years of experience in purchasing, supply chain and/or sustainability
- Solid project experience and/or qualifications in sustainable development such as sustainable supply chain
- Strong analytical and modelling skills in Excel; Experience in data analytics and statistics
- Experience with Ecovardis is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to drive high quality assurance in a complex dataset
- Understanding of sustainable supply chain trends, standards and guidelines and key assessment systems and tools
- Demonstrated project management experience
