This is the role

 

This position provides knowledge and support to LYBs’ Global End-To-End Source To Pay (S2P) cycle to ensure we achieve business value through innovation, continuous improvements, meaningful prioritization/utilization of global resources, and effective Project Management.

 

This role is responsible for the coordination, monitoring, and prioritization of new innovation initiatives (Next-Chapter Source to Pay) as well as continuous optimization efforts within the S2P process, driving for value generation, increase of automation and digitization, ensuring process compliance, increase ease of use and performance measurement applying KPI against industry benchmarks. 

 

The position is reporting into the S2P Global Process Owner as part of the Operational Excellence and Governance & Planning Team within LYB Global Business Services.

 

This role will deploy process-related standards, methods, and technologies, together with governance rules for delivering change, and provide structure and expertise on how the Procurement organization conducts process improvement initiatives.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Support the assessment and recommendations for process management and measurement technologies to the business process owners and supporting teams.
  • Support the evolution of S2P process standardization, automation and optimization within the organization.
  • Support the next generation journey of Source to Pay leveraging existing platforms like Ariba, SAP, Fairmarkit, Celonis, RPA) but also driving innovation towards new process maps and supplier excellence 
  • Support the implementation of performance measurements and benchmarks for Source to Pay
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project charters, and related presentations for transformation initiatives to ensure transparency of objectives, impacts and intended values.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate projects from inception, to requirements gathering, data aggregation & analysis and subsequent implementation of recommendations
  • Support implementation and maintenance of process governance structure including policies, roles & responsibilities.
  • Provide guidance to operations leaders globally; collaborate with international colleagues on best practices and work to ensure unified approaches to process excellence.

Min. Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4-6 years of experience in Procurement/ Supply Chain/ Manufacturing and strong evidence of process focus and change agent.
  • Expertise in SAP Ariba Catalog Management or SAP Fieldglass and SAP ECC 
  • Candidate must demonstrate an understanding of end-to-end Source to Pay business processes plus integration areas to Finance and Manufacturing
  • Collaborative and innovative mindset and patience are requirements.
  • Comfort presenting in front of large groups and leading group problem solving.
  • Working experience in a large, global company would be highly beneficial.
  • Expertise in Process Mining (leveraging Celonis) is a plus.
  • Able to work analytically, systematically and to meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential given diverse nature of operating landscape and cultural sensitivities.
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English
