This is the role

As a Senior Trading Analyst you will have ownership and responsibility for middle and back office elements of trade lifecycle processing, as well as monitoring and analysis of risk exposures on an intraday and long-term basis. You achieve results by constantly identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring and reporting risks of all types while operating within the Company’s risk appetite. 



  • Responsible for the timely execution (including verification) of trade confirmations and their associated records;
  • Coordinates with FRM colleagues, accounting, IT and others to investigate and resolve trade issues encompassing transaction economics, policy guidelines and software functionality;
  • Manage the settlement process, including payment instructions to AR/AP and assist accounting with the monthly settlement reporting and mark to market;
  • Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns and personally adhering to defined policies and procedures;
  • Prioritizing the right actions for customers and colleagues and responsible for a positive customer experience.

This is what you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or other quantitative field;
  • 3-5 years of experience in risk management, finance and/or banking, particularly experience related to commodity markets;
  • Experience with a company that operates globally;
  • Strong inter-personal skills, collaborative, focused on relationship-building;
  • Able to work under pressure, attention to detail, and internal drive for innovation. You will be expected to develop new tools, reports and processes;
  • Experience with SAP is a plus;
  • Demonstrated risk and data analytics skills including advanced Excel skills, basic PowerBI;
  • Experience with trade management or ETRM systems, especially CXL Triplepoint preferred;
  • Fluency in English.
