This is the role

 

The Sr. Organizational Change Management (OCM) Partner takes a leadership role in the planning, execution, and successful delivery of the people side of change in support of the organization’s most important IT-enabled business projects across the global enterprise. The Senior Partner will serve as a steward of our OCM and project management methods, working with all levels of the organization (leadership through individual contributors) to enable successful OCM programs. These programs will enable user adoption, accelerate value delivery, and maximize employee engagement through the effective application and continuous improvement of our change management methods.

 

Accordingly, the Senior OCM Partner will need to operate with a strategic mindset, collaborate effectively across global teams, and execute with precision on the project(s) or initiative(s) in scope. The Lead Partner will be a part of the IT Organizational Change Management team and is also expected to interface and influence IT and business leaders across the enterprise.

These are your roles & responsibilities

 

In this position you are working on:

 

  • Lead the development and execution of OCM plans for key IT projects and initiatives, including management guidance and support of multi-year programs
  • Drive continuous improvement of our OCM strategy, processes, tools, and templates used by IT, regularly engaging the business for feedback to drive enhancement
  • Collaborate with project managers and leaders on plans and activities to integrate and drive OCM activities and support project implementation
  • Identify potential risks, anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns, using diplomacy to influence and inform key executives of potential challenges
  • Establish relationships with business stakeholders to understand their business needs and initiatives and ensure OCM programs effectively address them
  • Serve as an active, visible, and credible sponsor of OCM activities throughout the organization and at all levels
  • Use experience to inform key project change activities including business readiness assessments, dashboard reporting and monitoring, and channels to report to senior project leadership
  • Create and manage measurement systems to track implementation, adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes
  • Develop and maintain strategies to reduce the resistance and uncertainty to foster a positive acceptance of change within the organization and work to develop and implement corrective actions

This is who you are

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational behavior, change leadership or related field
  • 10 years of experience implementing change management interventions across a range of initiatives
  • Working knowledge of OCM processes, methods and best practices required;
  • Advanced experience and knowledge of OCM principles and methodologies, including project management approaches and phases of the project lifecycle;
  • Experience delivering ERP programs and other adjacent IT applications with demonstrated success of engaging the business to drive ownership and business value;
  • Experience developing OCM strategies and plans and delivering against them (as an individual contributor, member of a team, and in a lead position);
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, presentation and critical thinking skills, including the ability to routinely interface at all levels of the organization quickly and interchangeably;
  • Ability to operate within globally distributed teams with a collaborative, intercultural mindset;
  • Exceptional organizational and pre-planning skills;
  • Demonstrates ability to build relationships and interact with senior management and key partner groups;
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal;
  • Knowledge of organization’s current technologies and practices and understanding of strategic direction;
  • Must be a team player and able to work with and through others;
  • Dealing with ambiguity, solutions-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

 

Experience with a top tier consulting firm working with Fortune 500 companies
Experience delivering and/or planning Organizational Change Management in an Agile environment
Change Management Certification (i.e., Prosci, Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP); APMG International)
