A Day in the Life

As the Sales Analyst you ensure excellence in pricing management in Polyolefins Europe. You focuss on supporting sales and the business in Polyolefins EU with 3 main areas of responsibilities – operational activities, reporting and tool development. You collaborate with the Marketing Managers and the Sales team to collect the required information in order to support pricing excellence improvement management process. 


Furthermore you will prepare monthly reports to share with management, highlighting the price performance and SOx compliance. You will work in close cooperation with other members of the department, the Marketing Specialist and also interface with relevant business staff. A successful Sales Analyst demonstrates strong skills in spreadsheet handling, use of functions available in excel, calculations free from mathematical errors and on-time deliveries of the reports. Other skills refer to written and verbal communication, analytical ability and problem-solving.

 

Responsibilities & Accountabilities: 

  • Coordinate the process for monthly price calculation, preparation, and maintenance of the price upload files and price master files
  • Participate in project teams related to price initiatives in Europe and company wide
  • Support sellers with the input of information required for Fiori uploads, pre-populating data fields
  • Investigate and resolve pricing questions/errors in co-operation with main stakeholders CSRs, Credit, Master Data, VAT, Sales and Marketing. Include any relevant Credit/Debit administration support and root cause analysis
  • Support to run, compile, analyze and distribute the Pricing dashboard including missing prices, material gross price/net price deviations vs plan or historic sales, benchmarks, etc.
  • Maintain customer lists on formula and freely-negotiated basis
  • Support the execution of the monthly SOx pricing accuracy control and issue month closure report for PE/PP Sales
  • Issue the Monthly Sales report according to the schedule of SVP review meetings
  • Lead the Annual Bottom-up sales budget process in close cooperation with sales, marketing and asset management
  • Lead the process of Customer Classification review and update in close cooperation with sales and marketing
  • Renew and maintain the Contract Negotiation tracker
  • Design, gather and provide select reports and analysis as periodically requested by Management

You Bring This Value

  • University or college degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance;
    • minimum bachelor degree in sciences; master’s degree preferred
  • Post Graduate/Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance, Customer Service, Credit
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Office Word/Excel, SAP R/3, SalesForce)
    • Preferably advanced in Excel and PowerBI.
  • Fluent in English
