This is the role

You support the development and management of a company-wide Quality Management System including standards and related auditing activities to ensure compliance with requirements. Leads Quality compliance, performance and other audits. Uses strong background in manufacturing, lab, supply chain and quality to evaluate conformance to customer expectations, company quality standards and ISO and IATF requirements. Provides recommendations to facilities and senior management regarding conformance and data-based recommendations for continuous improvement.

You need to provide leadership in the areas of Quality Management, to the Manufacturing Site Quality Teams and to Business groups. A key aspect of this role is driving customer satisfaction in a cost efficient way. The role monitors, manages and advises on how the quality complaint management system and the internal stakeholders are performing, utilizing statistics of actual performance against set targeted measures and will be involved in developing internal processes necessary to improve customer satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in the area of Quality Management to the Business Groups and Manufacturing Site Quality Teams including QMS Audits and Certifications;
  • Process Owner Quality Management System (QMS) and QMS Audits;
  • Responsible for the Quality Policy, Quality Manuals, Risks and Opportunities, and Scope of the Quality Management System;
  • Analyze metrics and trends to have a deep understanding of opportunities;
  • Promote continuous performance improvement initiatives with high-quality and timely deliverables;
  • Report to Management on the performance of the QMS and need for improvements or resources, while accounting for risks;
  • Work with process owners to develop, communicate, and maintain RACI analyses of QMS Processes incl. MOC;
  • Promote Quality Culture continuous growth and development;
  • Support for Special Projects.

This is what you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or other technical field;
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Quality related roles;
  • Experience in ISO9001 and IATF Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Quality Engineer or Six Sigma Black Belt;
  • Certified auditor ISO 9001, IATF 16949.

  • Possesses good interpersonal and communications skills to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization;
  • Knowledge and sound understanding of Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma, Statistical Analysis, Quality Tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, etc.) and Corrective Action Tools;
  • Project management and organizational skills;
  • Ability to summarize information and communicate effectively;
  • Good Computer Skills such as Excel, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, SPC, Capability Studies, Regression Analysis, Graphical Analysis, Gage R&R, Measurement System Analysis, etc.
