This is the role
As a Process Architect you'll provide knowledge and support to LyondellBasell’s Global End-To-End Source To Pay (STP) cycle to ensure we achieve business results through the application of continuous improvement, meaningful prioritization/utilization of global resources, and effective Project Management. You are responsible for the coordination, monitoring, and prioritization of standardization and optimization initiatives within the S2P process, driving improvements in effectiveness, efficiency, and sustain results. You will be a key liaison between the other global business process owners, such as R2R and OTC, and their designated process architects to establish project prioritization. And you will also be supporting for the overall S2C global process standardization, which will include planning, international and multi-process scoping, executing, monitoring, and properly closing standardization efforts. You'll lead team or several teams responsible for executing these initiatives. In this position you'll be reporting into the global process and system team of global procurement & utilities.
You will deploy process-related standards, methods and technologies, together with governance rules for delivering change, and provide structure and expertise on how the Procurement organization conducts process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment and recommendations for process management and measurement technologies to the business process owners and supporting teams;
- Develop and maintain plans, charters, and related presentations for transformation initiatives to ensure transparency of objectives and intended results;
- Ensures that project status, issues and successes are communicated to project team;
- Pro-actively engages present and future stakeholders in design, priority setting, and implementation;
- Undertakes continual adjustments with stakeholders in a persuasive manner, to keep the project on course, by use of positive win/win negotiation;
- Cost management: resource planning, cost estimation, budgeting and control activities;
- Risk Management: risk planning, root cause analysis identification, mitigation, and remediation;
- Prioritize Process Improvement opportunities for the S2P cycle as part of the Business Process Ownership Centre of Excellence;
- Support the evolution of S2P process standardization and optimization within the organization;
- Support the S2P Process Owner to implement and maintain process architecture including the structure and documentation of processes;
- Lead lean performance review updates with leadership across the organization. Coordinate and integrate data and analyses for opportunity and performance review;
- Involvement and support of the new LYB digitalization projects & strategy for process improvement of Global procurement & utilities (GPU) and/or Global business service unit (GBS);
- Effectively negotiate and balance the continuous improvement needs across the S2P cycle;
- Support implementation and maintenance of process governance structure including policies, roles & responsibilities;
- Ensure ownership for responsibilities is clear and specific deliverables are thoroughly understood by stakeholders;
- Assist the Business Process Owners and supporting teams with establishing rules;
- Drive improved operational outcomes through the development and deployment of standard and automated processes;
- Provide guidance to operations leaders globally; collaborate with international colleagues on best practices and work to ensure unified approaches to process excellence.

This is what you bring
- Bachelor’s degree required;
- 8-15 years of experience in Procurement/ Supply Chain/ Manufacturing and strong evidence of process focus and change agent;
- Collaborative mindset and patience are requirements;
- Experience in driving process improvement for a large organization required;
- Working knowledge of Business Process Management tools required;
- Strong computer skills and proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint;
- Must operate with a high degree of integrity and will be expected to work on confidential projects;
- Comfort presenting in front of large groups and leading group problem solving;
- Experience of working in different international geographical regions;
- Able to multi task and meet aggressive deadlines. Able to work under pressure analytically and systematically;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential given diverse nature of operating landscape and cultural sensitivities;
- Able to develop strategies for projects that have significant business impact;
- Process Re-engineering, Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma experience preferred;
- Experienced Business Process Management discipline, technologies, and/or methodologies preferred;
- Deep understanding of the business, manufacturing and procurement source to pay processes within Chemical or Manufacturing Industry business model, highly desirable;
- Experience in process design and implementation within SAP is strongly desired;
- Participation in the configuration, design and testing of SAP Application experience preferred;
