This is the role

The Pricing Analyst manages, and is accountable for, calculation and dissemination of prices of all European customers. Ensuring price consistency and process integrity/control through the use of appropriate tools. Ownership of processes governing price amendments, corrections, contract adjustments and timely invoicing. In addition you act as focal point in the coordination of formula creation in price calculations for businesses.

You give support to the Pricing Coordinators in setting up and maintaining macro’s in the pricing Excel sheets.
You are the main point of contact for all pricing and contract related issues. In addition you act as a focal point in the coordination of formula creation in price calculations for businesses. Monthly reports will be prepared to share with management, highlighting the price performance. You work proactively with other Supply Chain functions, to ensure timely and accurate execution of these responsible tasks.
Run KPI’s for the EU Pricing team

Key responsibilities:

  • You give support to the Pricing Coordinators in setting up and maintaining macro’s in the pricing Excel sheets.
  • Run KPI’s for the EU Pricing team.
  • You give full support to the Pricing Coordinators supporting in setting up and maintaining macro’s in Excel.
  • Responsible and accountable for price calculations and effective communication to all involved parties.
  • Formulates reports and analyzes information to supply the Business with data required to develop factors in formula pricing calculations and competitive pricing discussions with stakeholders.
  • Run, compile and distribute monthly sales performance reports for missing prices, for gross price and volume.
  • Investigate and resolve pricing questions/errors in co-operation with Business Process, CSRs, Credit, Master Data, VAT, Sales and Marketing. Include any relevant Credit/Debit administration support and Actively working on process improvements by sharing best practices with other departments.
  • Processing and registering contract and contract addendums in SAP.
  • Ensures formal governance compliance and company work ethic culture is in place by respecting / adhering to all policies and procedures and proactively “lives” them.
  • Participate in Internal and external audits, Identify gaps and areas for improvements.
  • Performance management by designing performance metrics and performance monitoring tools.
  • Check and maintain accuracy of prices in the SAP system in liaison with Sales, Customer Fulfillment, Invoicing Group as well as our customers.
  • Analyze data and actively work on process improvements by sharing best practices with other departments. 
  • Communicates agreements clearly and timely assuring timely invoicing.

  • Must demonstrate complex problem resolution proficiency and capability to identify/implement process and system enhancements.
This is what you bring
  • A minimum of secondary vocational education/Bachelor degree with a preference for Logistics or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 2-3 years working experience in experience in Customer Service/Administration/Contract Administration.
  • Advanced VBA skills
  • Good understanding of the Chemical and Refinery industry preferred.
  • Business or economical degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Advanced Excel and preferably experienced with SAP.
  • Excellent level of Business English (any other language will be an advantage).
  • You are a EU citizen or in posession of a valid workpermission for The Netherlands
