This is the role
As a Marketing Manager, BDO & P-solvents you will develop and execute the sales and marketing strategies for BDO & P-series solvents to maximize the overall value and return for the company in the EMEAF region. Key responsibilities include developing market segment strategies that align with the overall business strategy, ensuring profitability and viability of the business within company policies and objectives, and facilitating collaboration with global teams to align sales growth strategies.
Additionally, you will be responsible for optimizing the customer/product portfolio for your assigned segments, with the aim of maximizing profitability. This will involve developing pricing strategies and negotiating major contracts. Collaboration with our sales team will be essential, as well as ensuring a seamless alignment of supply and demand through effective coordination with our Operations Planning department.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and implement BDO, Derivatives, and P-Series Solvents business strategy for the EMEAF region;
- Establish and direct cross-functional market segment teams to identify growth areas for the business;
- Serve as the approval authority for price negotiations within the guidelines established by the Business Director;
- Evaluate competitor activities, produce price forecasting in line with marketing objectives in order to assist in preparation of business analysis and plans and disseminate market intelligence with the assistance of Business Finance;
- Directly responsible for providing the analytical support and specific operational targets to achieve the economical optimal operation across our business.

You possess excellent negotiation and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of market segments, products, applications, and customers. Your strong communication abilities enable you to maintain relationships with senior customer management. You are skilled in collaborating and influencing various functions such as Logistics, Sales Administration, Product Planning, Manufacturing, R&D, and Financials Controls.

This is what you bring
- University degree, required
- 10 + years' Sales and Trade, Technical, Marketing or Commercial, or related experience in chemical or refining/energy related industries
- Relevant industry know-how to manage successful business strategies
- Strong knowledge of market segments, products, applications and customers
- Fluent in English
