This is the role

The Manager, Business Processes Europe is a regional leadership position within the Global Business Processes & Systems Solutions (BPSS) organization reporting under the Global Supply Chain. This position requires global understanding of the Lead to Cash (L2C) processes and is responsible for the design, improvement and regional implementation thereof. While the role is regional, due to the global reach it requires effectively working across regional boundaries. Process elements within L2C include Lead to Order, Order to Cash, Forecast to Plan, Produce to Deliver, Idea to market, Customer, Finished Goods, Raw Materials and Quality (COA)

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Manage European regional team focused on the design, improvement and implementation of end to end enterprise and L2C business processes solutions, system support, in accordance with corporate policies and legislative requirements.
  • Lead and mentor direct reports in the analysis of business opportunities and design of related process solutions leading to improvements and/or automation increasing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Responsible for staff training and education, promotions, and salary decisions for all team members. Develop for approval and monitor regional budget to ensure appropriate allocation of resources to meet team goals.
  • In all areas, work with a Global vision and seek opportunities to harmonize and drive simplicity.
  • Responsible for a significant number of SAP Security roles within Supply Chain and Commercial, ensuring proper segregation of duties.
  • Act as management level liaison for the evaluation and resolution of business process issues related to ERP and related systems/tools.
  • Support the GPO organization for Lead to Cash streams which include: Forecast to Plan, Lead to Order, Order to Cash and Produce to Deliver.
  • Serve as Steering Team Member and Core Team Member to ensure projects, on-time, on-budget and quality of solution as expected; ensuring Change Management is developed and delivered for projects and enhancements. Coach team members in effective business process lead activity, following ITS governance as required.

This is what you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required with Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, Business or Engineering related discipline preferred.
    • Master of Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years business experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related experience.
  • Managerial/supervisor experience required with demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop a professional work force accomplishing differential results.
  • Experience with project management is required
  • Understanding of the business and supply chain processes within the Petrochemicals business model, highly desirable.
  • Process Re-engineering, Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in process management and statistical techniques (e.g., Key Performance Indicators and benchmarking).
  • Experience in process design and implementation within a financial software package (ideally SAP).
  • English required other foreign languages preferred
