This is the role

As Lead Business Finance Analyst it is your role to support the business in budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analyzing the financial results of the business and to support the business in other financial matters 

 

Responsibilities & Accountabilities: 

  • Preparation of the monthly rolling financial forecast – income statement and working capital – for the business on basis of the S&OP process, input from Procurement and the financial forecast models
  • Maintenance and continuous improvement of the financial forecasting models
  • Analysis of the actual monthly business results and comparison to budget and forecast
  • Liaise with manufacturing/asset optimization for individual production plant cost reporting and margin analysis
  • Reporting of actual business results and analysis to business and finance management
  • Provide support in business/ financial presentation preparation for senior management
  • Preparation of the EBITDA budget for the business
  • Preparation of the fixed cost budget for Advanced Polymer Solutions (APS) Europe in cooperation with senior business management
  • Support business, segment and finance management in accounting and other financial matters with respect to the business
  • Plans own activities according to deadlines

This is what you bring

  • MSc. Business Economics / Finance-related qualifications, or BSc. in one of these areas with proven track record in a position at MSc level
  • Minimum 3 years of business/financial controlling and management reporting experience in a world scale business environment
  • Proficient user of Excel
  • Experience with SAP and Onestream is beneficial
  • Fluent in Business English
