You will work in a team of ten people who are mainly either Software or Data Engineers, they report to the Sr. Manager Software Engineer. The team falls under the Digital Transformation team. The team is very international but the majority is based at our Rotterdam office.

A Day in the Life

As Intern Software Engineering & Analytics you will be working on highly sought-after functionality within the SE&A team. This could be:

• Contributing to and/or setting up a microservice to provide structured file ingests into our datalake.
• Developing/configuring an Agent running on our datalake to provide a natural language interface to increase ease of access/data retrieval to company-wide users.
• Work on existing microservices in a team covering both frontend/backend/database development.

Starting date is flexible from April ’26 onwards. Duration of the internship is also flexible, with a minimum of 3 months.

You Bring This Value

• We are looking for a academic educated student in their 3rd year or later
  • A Computer Science or related STEM study is preferred, but we will not exclude candidates if they show prior experience with the mentioned programming skills.
• Experience with object-oriented programming and have (or be willing to learn) python programming skills.
• Based on your profile and internship assignment you should either show affinity with data science or formal software engineering.
• You’re eligible to work in The Netherland without additional visa sponsorship needed.
