The HR Operations Specialist will be part of a team that consists of 13 team members, and he/she serves as the first point of contact for all employees, managers, Human Resources and external stakeholders and provides support for HR-related inquiries in HR Operations.

A Day in the Life

This position is required to provide exceptional customer service and accurate information regarding HR policies, processes, and procedures and conduct transactions related to job changes, document management, employment verifications, and unemployment claims.


Responsibilities


  • Resolves requests from employees, managers, leaders and HR staff regarding various HR topics via numerous channels (ticket, chat, email, phone);
  • Provide employees with accurate, consistent and timely responses plus explanations regarding HR related questions and issues on policies, processes and procedures, with the goal to solve the question or issue at the first initial contact;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues ranging from simple to complex questions, using knowledge of HR policies and procedures, HR Systems and internal HR processes and escalating to other HR teams as necessary;
  • Conduct transactions and data updates within the HR Systems including but not limited to: job changes, document management, verification of employment, and unemployment claims;
  • Ensuring service level agreements are met and providing end-to-end customer support resulting in accurate and timely resolution of customer inquiries;
  • Providing day-to-day operational support for global HR teams as required;
  • Uphold HR service and quality standards when conducting work tasks;
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality related to business or employee information protected by company policy and federal/state regulations;
  • Special projects or initiatives as assigned.

You Bring This Value

  • Associates degree in HR or field related to job duties, or equivalent experience;
  • Written and verbal communication skills to provide accurate, clear and diplomatic responses to inquiries;
  • Research and analytical skills to review and/or troubleshoot routine situations;
  • Technical aptitude for navigating and instructing others on HR processes;
  • Basic skills using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
