Announcement
In June 2025, LYB announced entering into an agreement and exclusive negotiations for the sale of four olefins & polyolefins sites and the associated business in Europe. The sites to be sold are located in Berre (France), Münchsmünster (Germany), Carrington (UK), and Tarragona (Spain). The sites together represent a scaled olefins and polyolefins platform strategically located in proximity to a longstanding customer base and with access and connectivity to key infrastructure.
Closing of the proposed transaction is currently expected in the first half of 2026. From the start, the new company will be a scaled leader in European Olefins & Polyolefins. Powered by strategically located assets, a diverse product portfolio, and operational excellence, it aims to transform the business, fostering an agile, entrepreneurial culture where fast decision-making and hands-on collaboration drive transformation and growth.

This is the role
The Sales Analyst is a core member of Newco’s Performance Improvement team, supporting the business in strengthening pricing discipline, commercial transparency, and overall performance management in Newco’s evolving commercial organization.
The role ensures that pricing and sales performance information is accurate, compliant, and insight driven, enabling the organization to move fast while protecting value and actively contributing to the development of Newco’s new ways of working.
In a developing commercial environment, the Sales Analyst contributes both hands on execution and analytical insight, helping replace legacy complexity with simple, fit for purpose processes, tools, and performance reporting across Sales and Marketing. The role acts as a trusted partner to commercial teams and leadership, connecting pricing quality, performance insight, and continuous improvement such as improving the pricing process so sellers can focus on customers rather than the administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pricing Execution & Control
- Own and coordinate the monthly pricing calculation and upload process, ensuring timeliness, completeness, and accuracy;
- Maintain and improve price master files and upload structures, balancing strong controls with usability for the business;
- Support and execute required pricing controls, delivering clear closure and exception reporting.
Pricing & Sales Performance Insights
- Run, analyze, and evolve pricing dashboards and management reports, highlighting missing prices, deviations versus plan or historical performance, benchmarks, and key risks;
- Translate pricing data into actionable insight for Sales, Marketing, and leadership;
- Prepare and distribute recurring and ad hoc sales and pricing reports aligned with leadership.
Sales & Marketing Enablement
- Act as a hands on support partner for Sales by pre populating and validating pricing inputs in commercial systems, reducing friction and rework;
- Maintain and govern critical datasets such as customer classifications, pricing formulas, negotiated price lists, and contract tracking;
- Support continuous improvement of pricing practices and commercial discipline across the organization.
Cross Functional Issue Resolution
- Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies in collaboration with Customer Service, Credit, Master Data, Tax, Sales, and Marketing;
- Perform root cause analysis to prevent repeat issues and strengthen end to end pricing processes;
- Contribute actively to pricing related initiatives and projects at Newco level.
Planning, Budgeting & Structural Contribution
- Lead on the annual bottom up sales planning and budgeting process, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Asset Management;
- Support periodic customer classification and pricing structure reviews to ensure alignment with Newco’s evolving commercial strategy;
- Provide analytical support to adjacent commercial topics such as reporting harmonization, data improvements, or process redesign.
Broad Contribution to Newco
- Support priority commercial and analytical initiatives beyond the strict scope of the role, recognizing the needs of a growing organization;
- Contribute ideas and hands on support to improve tools, controls, and ways of working;
- Support leadership communications, reviews, and decision forums with concise, decision ready insights;
- Work closely with the Performance Improvement Team to align on tasks and ensuring a single, aligned source of truth for commercial and performance data.

This is what you bring
- Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline;
- Experience in sales support, pricing, finance, customer service, or credit, preferably in a commercial environment;
- Strong analytical and technical capability, particularly in Excel, ERP systems, and BI tools (e.g. Power BI).While keeping a strong balance between detail orientation and business pragmatism;
- High accuracy, reliability, and process orientation, combined with flexibility, speed and continuous improvement focus;
- Clear communicator, able to simplify complex pricing topics for commercial stakeholders while having a service mindset.
