Announcement
In June 2025, LYB announced entering into an agreement and exclusive negotiations for the sale of four olefins & polyolefins sites and the associated business in Europe. The sites to be sold are located in Berre (France), Münchsmünster (Germany), Carrington (UK), and Tarragona (Spain). The sites together represent a scaled olefins and polyolefins platform strategically located in proximity to a longstanding customer base and with access and connectivity to key infrastructure.
Closing of the proposed transaction is currently expected in the first half of 2026. From the start, the new company will be a scaled leader in European Olefins & Polyolefins. Powered by strategically located assets, a diverse product portfolio, and operational excellence, it aims to transform the business, fostering an agile, entrepreneurial culture where fast decision-making and hands-on collaboration drive transformation and growth.
Are you ready?
You will be crucial to a successful transition and, when the sale is closed, success of the new company. You will become part of a new dynamic organization with around 1,800 employees, headquarters in Rotterdam and production sites in France, Germany, UK and Spain with a strong focus on customer excellence.
This is the role
Your core business is to coordinate and execute operational and administrative support for your direct stakeholders and their respective groups. This support can be defined, but is not limited to meeting and travel management, organizing events of varying sizes and participants, and assisting in people management. Also, part of the duties is handling service invoices and coordinating with Accounts Payable. You can be a gatekeeper for live projects of various kinds.
In this position you are also responsible for the operational aspects of Facilities. You have a strong eye for detail and ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly. Thanks to your proactive approach, no one is left wanting and colleagues can rely on a well-organized working environment.
In this position you will report into the Executive Assistant.

- Gatekeeper recurring meetings / Calendar Management;
- Data administration / Travel and expenses;
- Event organization and support;
- Branding and supplies;
- Focal point for the extended groups;
- Operational Facilities.
This is who you are
To be successful in this role, you must recognize yourself in the following profile:
You are an experienced user of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams. Able to work effectively both independently and within a team, implementing administrative improvements with supervisory guidance. Strong organizational skills enable them to manage and prioritize tasks proactively while maintaining precision and attention to detail. Additionally, they demonstrate excellent interpersonal abilities, communicating and coordinating confidently in senior management environments. This is what you bring
- Bachelor degree preferred, or equivalent experience;
- Minimum of 2-5 years working experience in same or similar role in an international environment;
- Fluent in English both written as oral, preferably Dutch or one other European language.
