This is the role

As a Quality Compliance and Environmental Engineer you drive, sustain and improve a unified management system within Botlek, Europoort and Maasvlakte (BoMa) that complies with our internal corporate OE standards, policies but also external standards like ISO 9001, 14001, 22000, GMP+ and local legislation such as BRZO, WABO and BEVB.

Instills a continual learning culture by adopting the P-D-C-A mentality through actively developing and maintaining the auditing plan, supporting external audits and inspections, coordinating follow up actions and providing relevant site metrics and reporting. It’s an essential role in driving continual improvement within the BOMA organisation consistent with LyondellBasell Standards and legal requirements.

These are the responsibilities

Maintain the BoMa Management System documentation; procedures and instructions based on OE, ISO and other requirements. Supports the creation and amendments of procedures and documents and adherence to OE policies, legislation and regulations.

  • Participates in dealing with governmental and local authorities related to permits, regulations and WABO / BRZO inspections
  • Drive continual improvement by planning, preparing and conducting internal and external audits such as and not limited to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, GMP+/FSSC 22000
  • Montlhy management reporting of open and overdue findings, outstanding investigation reports and follow up on official notifications as results of audits.
  • Initiate, prepare, facilitate and document and follow up the Management Review Meetings as required by the standards
  • Support Environmental Engineer creating the Annual Environmental report
  • Reporting of all required HSE data to authorities
  • Ensure compliance to the relevant permit requirements
  • Intelex administrator, Intelex community of experts representative

This is what you bring

  

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Computer literate;
  • Knowledge of ISO standards such as. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSSC/ISO22000;
  • 5 years of general experience in the Petrochemical industry is preferred;
  • Knowledge of management systems / process management;
  • Auditing license is preferred;
  • Dutch and English fluent required.
