This is the role

As Maintenance and Reliability Engineer Electrical, you’ll be responsible for providing technical support to the manufacturing department and the maintenance organization, guided by the priorities set out by the maintenance manager, while ensuring compliance with Engineering Guidelines & Standard and regulation inspection, in order to optimize and maintain the safety, efficiency and availability of the equipment. 

Furthermore, you will be responsible for the installations within your discipline. You’ll analyze  the condition of the implemented equipment in cooperation with others such as operators, project engineering, engineering agencies and equipment dealers, all while ensuring the integrity of the installation. In addition, you will analyze failure data with the help of reliability/inspection databases in order to prevent recurring bad actors and set up a preventive maintenance program based on a Long Range Plan while being responsible for the execution of said program.  Reviewing the maintenance program regularly, you’ll be able to optimize the program whenever improvement is needed. 
 
Your responsibilities will also include:

• Being responsible for spare part management including the critical and non-critical equipment;
• Initiating and managing maintenance related procedures and working instructions in order to ensure safety, efficiency and operational excellence;
• You’ll be involved in various phases of CAPEX projects; 
• Providing input to the turn around scope.

You are an analytical stronghold able to track down disruptions in a timely manner as well as being able to develop a longterm cost efficient and qualitively satisfying solution. Furthermore you are more than able to develop strong relationships with stakeholders and engineers from various disciplines. Above all, you love a challenge and know how to deal with stress and pressure. 

This is what you bring

• Technical Bachelor within the E&I discipline;
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the petrochemical industry as well as various field related application courses such as high/low voltage installations;
• Security systems according to IEC61511;
• Experience developing/maintaining installations in the ATEX zones;
• In depth knowledge of Electrical is required, knowledge of Instrumentation is preferred;
• Knowledge of E&I equipment and installations;
• Knowledge of local and international industry standards is preferred, as well as knowledge of reliability centered maintenance principles;
• Fluency in English and proficiency in Dutch on minimum B1 level. (or willing to learn Dutch)
