This is the role

You will lead a multi-discipline team of engineers to develop and implement (operating-) plant projects and manage all aspects of a project from Front End Loading (FEL) into construction and through commissioning with project handover to final close out. You will be the focal point for external stakeholders such as engineering vendors, material suppliers, construction companies, etc., supported by an integrated project team and functions such as procurement. He or she shall manage the activities to ensure the project objective is achieved, whilst adhering to company standards and own  responsibility for project safety, budgets and schedule and quality. You will comply that projects are executed in accordance with the LYB Project Management Process (based on standard 5 phase approach) and associated Project Execution Manual.

This is what you bring

•    At least a Bachelor’s degree with relevant Petrochemical plant experience complemented with a discipline background (Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, Rotating equipment, Mechanical equipment);
•    5+ years of experience with Plant Project management in the Petrochemical industry;
•    Experienced in project management, specifically the standard 5 phases methodology of project management; PMI-PMP/ IPMA certificate is preferred;
•    Experience with SAP and MS office;
•    Fluent in Dutch and English.
