PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This is a regional manufacturing controlling role supporting 12 sites across APAC. The role owns end-to-end annual budgeting, monthly rolling forecasting and management reporting, delivering actionable analysis on fixed & variable cost. It oversees end-to-end site-level manufacturing finance controlling activities, and act as finance partner to regional manufacturing / business leadership, local plant operations, local finance, inventory accounting and global teams to drive consistent cost transparency and financial accuracy across the entire APAC manufacturing portfolio.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead the regional annual manufacturing fixed cost budget, ensure budget accuracy, rationality and alignment with global financial targets
- Own monthly regional manufacturing rolling forecast and regional cost trend analysis
- Perform high-level monthly regional manufacturing analysis, focusing on fixed & variable cost variances analysis review and deliver value-added business insights
- Execute end-to-end manufacturing controlling activities including monthly cost center controlling, support on accrual bookings, cost allocation cycle management and period-end closing support.
- Monitor production order & maintenance order variances together with monthly settlement status; validate standard cost reasonableness and activity/machine rate calculation
- Support BOM and production recipe sanity check, ensure manufacturing cost master data accuracy
- Ensure full compliance with SOX, MC&A and internal control requirements across all Asia manufacturing sites
- Serve as regional finance business partner, drive cost optimization, standardized controlling process and consistent financial governance across sub-regions
- Support internal & external audit, government statistics requirements and ad-hoc regional cost analysis required by leadership
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years+ of manufacturing finance / costing controlling / business analysis experience in multinational manufacturing companies
- Solid understanding of manufacturing cost structure, BOM/recipe, industrial overhead logic, and end-to-end budget & forecast process
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SAP (FI/CO module) and Business Warehouse
- Strong regional consolidation and analysis capability, able to manage multi-site portfolio independently
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize, including responding to numerous requests from multiple stakeholders for financial analysis and commentary
- Advanced Excel capability
- Fluent English for cross-region and global communication
