HR Business Partner, China

Basic Function

As HR Business Partner for APS China Commercial team you will have multiple and diverse challenges on tactical and operational level to support the business realizing their goals and objectives. You will function as an independent business partner, supporting (Sr) line management and employees on day to day HR activities. Together with the other HR Business Partners, you will work on the HR Ambitions and HR agenda for medium and long term.

Roles & Responsibilities

1 Provide one point of contact for HR business partnering at tactical and operational level

2 Counsel to managers and proactively anticipate and address (complex) HR challenges impacting the business

3 Plan and coordinate internal and external recruitment, working together with the regional Talent Acquisition team. This includes participating in interview process and ownership of job offer process. Organize and implement internal moves and set up new hire employment agreements in close cooperation with the HR Operations team

4 Support staff planning, talent management, succession planning and training activities

5 Co-partner in the development and implementation of changes in the structure of the organization, including identifying impact and assisting in the communication as needed

6 Support all annual HR processes e.g. Continuous Performance Management, Alignment Sessions, STI, merit planning, etc.

7 Implement global ER strategies and handle local cases where needed

8 Execute and maintain local policies in cooperation with China HR team

9 Participation in HR projects on local, national or international level, e.g. employee engagement, recognition tools, etc. 

Min. Qualifications

1 Bachelor's degree with a preference in Human Resources Management

2 Experience in HR fundamentals and understanding of China employment laws

3 Minimum of 10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner

4 Working knowledge of SAP, SuccessFactors and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint

5 Digital savvy

6 Fluent in Chinese and English.
