Basic Function

  • The role includes supporting the logistics and operations for various marketing communications campaigns across Asia (tradeshow, customer event, seminar, tec day, etc.), liaising with internal business teams and external vendors to ensure a positive customer experience. 
  • The role will be supporting team members to design, plan and deliver communications through social media (WeChat) /online platform to share consistent message to external and internal stakeholders and strengthen LYB’s branding.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Events:

  • Support the operation and logistics of customer activities in Asia (ChinaPlas2026)
  • Draft/translate, proofread, polish and format communications materials (customer story, WeChat article, internal story, speech, video scripts, presentations, marketing collaterals, etc.)

Social media:

  • Support communications on designated social media/digital platforms (e.g. WeChat/official website), including but not limited to the content planning, content drafting, design and layout.
  • Track data of LYB owned or other defined social media channel performance and monitor market trends to deliver social media insights on timely basis

Administrative:

  • Support to manage the external vendors on proceeding contract, PR/PO, payment and invoice process
  • Perform various administrative tasks to support communications projects

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Preferred majors in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or English literature
  • Second-year graduate students or undergraduate students in third year
  • Fluency in written and speaking English
  • Strong attention to detail, previous experience in writing and organizing events 
  • Passionate about social media/new technology and familiar with emerging trends of social media, previous experiences with social media operation is preferred;
  • Working knowledge of WeChat editing tools, Photoshop, Adobe and/or other design software, basic video filming and editing skills is preferred;
    At least three days per week attendance with six-months internship commitment
