The Product Sales Development Manager role involves overseeing a specified EP product line lifecycle, from conception to discontinuation, and developing marketing strategies to promote the product line. It requires driving continuous improvement and innovation, providing technical and commercial support to the sales team. The role also includes identifying and mitigating risks, preparing performance reports for senior management, coordinating supply chain priorities, and integrating customer feedback into product development.

A Day in the Life

  • Product, Sales and Marketing Strategy: Oversee the entire lifecycle of the product line from conception to discontinuation. Develops customer tiering list with sales and commercial leadership. Develop marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the product line.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the product line through PAD, Manufacturing Operations and ADTS alignment with Customer Centric approach
  • Sales Focus: Initiate technical, commercial support and training to the sales team to help them understand and sell the products effectively. Focused product line customer visits, own key opportunity objectives, and actively participate in industry groups and lead trade show initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the product line.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on product line performance for senior management Ownership of Product Line focused toward serving and growing our business.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Responsible for setting priority with production and development to drive supply chain for timely and cost effective solutions for our customers.
  • Customer Feedback Integration: Incorporate customer feedback into product development and improvement processes.

You Bring This Value

  • Specific technical or sales experience with both polyamide(Nylon) and Fire Retardant compounding
  • Polymer compounding, sales, and marketing
  • Sales or Marketing Experience
  • P&L Experience
  • Strong communication skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, or a related area 
    MBA preferred

Work Experience

  • 10+ year’s professional experience in a technical, sales, or marketing role

Languages

  • English, additional language preferred
