Price Administrator/ Analyst

Basic Function
  • Handles price file updates, formula priced accounts update, price analysis and maintenance for RMB Business in China.
  • Analyses and administers price change requests from field sales including history of pricing for specific customers, market segments, product types and competitors.
  • Follows through the SAP system to ensure the correct price and volume data are reported via Business Warehouse.
  • Identifies SAP and Vendavo system and process improvement and supports test run of new functions.
  • Makes price decisions within guidelines established by business management and according to company policies.
  • Analyses chargebacks and resolves within the established business rules.
  • Maintains up–to-date rebate and price adjustment accruals based on established guidelines and initiates credit /debit notes to settle the accrual.
Basic Function (cont'd)
  • Coordinates the entire contract approval process including maintenance of electronic proposal files.
  • Communicates approval / non-approval of price changes via the established system within 48 hours of a price change request.
  • Maintain customer and material master record update to ensure efficient system transaction.
  • Analyses between the monthly target price from Marketing/Business Managers and monthly transaction price so as to provide comparison and improvement for their pricing decision.
  • Maintain and reinforce proper Pricing system control with Sales and Marketing/Business Managers to meet the audit purpose
Roles & Responsibilities

- Monthly & Quarterly review of  Sales Rebate and Agents Commission accrual for IRMB biz, to ensure that Price adjustment are being posted in Company Book according to pricing policy procedure

Acts as lead tester for system testing needed for  system upgrade and maintenance of SAP for RMB biz

Analyze price vs target and floor prices and provide monthly reports to line manager

- coordinate with Business Managers/Marketing Managers approvals for any sales with price lower than target

Maintain the Customer and Material Master Record Update for RMB business

- Maintain and reinforce proper Pricing control system  with RMB Sales, Marketing Mangers

- conduct pricing process and policy training to sales team if needed

Min. Qualifications

Education:

University / college degree preferably in economics, finance or supply chain or equivalent business degree

Work Experience:

5 to 10 years of working experience in in multi-national company in pricing or master data functions.

Skills:

  • Data analytical and numerical skills
  • SAP SD/PI model
  • Windows office

Languages:

  1. English
  2. one or more other Asian language depending on the customers
