Basic Function

Treasury Services Analyst is responsible for helping LYB to manage oversight and coordination of all activities related to bank account management and administration. Primary responsibilities include performing and supporting all documentary requirements from our banking partners that relate to global banking administration and Electronic banking platforms, as well as the timely and accurate execution of all SOX related requirements globally. This position will work closely with the regional Treasury Operations Managers to coordinate tasks with members of their respective groups. 
The position communicates frequently with a broad array of functional groups within the global Treasury and CFO group, the IT group, the Legal group and will also interface regularly with external banking partners.

The position will as well support the Treasury Operations Analyst and Cash Managers with the day to day activities as and when required

Roles & Responsibilities

Banking Administration
•    Support the global bank administration process, including oversight of the opening, closing, and maintaining of services for global bank accounts.
o    Assist with account opening, closing, and maintenance documentation
o    Assist regional treasury operations with the KYC process including coordination with Legal
o    Assist with the end to end process of setting up the bank accounts in the ERP system
•    Act as security administrator for global bank account platforms and review the reporting on access rights to these systems in conjunction with the Treasury Operations Managers.
•    Shared ownership of the global bank account database, including accounts, documentation and signatories.  Ensure integrity of bank account data and compliance with company’s bank account administration policy
•    Lead routine bank account audits for bank accounts that are controlled locally (i.e. not managed by Treasury). 
•    Support the selection and implementation of a new bank account repository.
•    Help streamlining the bank acct admin across the various banking providers
•    Create a link with the Legal database Hcue
•    Manage active dialogue with Treasury Services Team in the US and Asia

Process Documentation/Audit Support
•    Serve as principle coordinator for all global Treasury process documentation as well as provide direct support for Treasury Operations Managers on developing and publishing global process documentation.
•    Provide support for the internal and external audit process, as needed.
•    Educating subsidiaries and other departments on the content and implications of compliance with Global Treasury Policies and highlighting the impact that non-compliance can have on the group
•    Monitor the relevant Treasury Documentation (procedures and work instructions) to ensure compliance and report process changes to ensure these remain accurate.

Other/General
•    Maintain the overview of Petty Cash and support related controls and audits
•    Create various (ad-hoc) reports for management
•    Interface with the Treasury Operations Managers, IT, Legal, Controlling, GPS, Tax, Disbursements and other Treasury groups.
•    Act as back-up for Treasury Analyst Operations and Cash managers as and when required

Min. Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree required, with a major in Business, Accounting, Finance or similar field preferred.
•    4+ years of experience in Treasury or Finance.
•    Knowledge of banking and experience with Treasury Management Systems, preferably SAP Treasury.
•    Fluent English language skills, other language skills are preferred.
•    Well-organized, structured working approach
•    Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with a wide range of audiences, internally and externally
•    Strong focus on accuracy and detail 
•    Able to work under pressure in a company with an international culture
