Basic Function

This position is responsible for helping LYB to manage oversight and coordination of all activities related to bank account management and administration, as well as of other Corporate Treasury tasks.  Primary responsibilities include, performing and supporting all documentary requirements from our banking partners that relate to global administration of Group’s Electronic banking platforms and bank account management. This position, will work closely with the regional Treasury Operations Managers to coordinate tasks with members of their respective groups when needed. 
The position communicates frequently with a broad array of functional groups within the global Treasury and CFO group, the IT group, the Legal group and will also interface regularly with external banking partners.

The position may as well support the Treasury Analyst Operations and Cash managers with the day to day activities if and when required. 

Roles & Responsibilities

Banking Administration

•    Manage the end to end process of setting up the bank accounts in the ERP system for the global Treasury Operations
•    Especially for EMEA region:
o    Perform account opening, closing, and maintenance documentation with the banks 
o    Perform the KYC process including coordination with Legal and Tax
o    Perform the regular update of the banks with the authorized legal representatives 
•    Act as security administrator for global bank account platforms and review the reporting on access rights to these systems in conjunction with the Regional Treasury Teams.
•    Shared ownership of the global bank account database, including accounts, documentation and signatories.  Ensure integrity of bank account data and compliance with company’s bank account administration policy
•    Lead annual bank account review for bank accounts that are managed locally (i.e. not managed by Treasury).
•    Monitor Bank Fees
•    Provide data for the internal and external audits, as needed
•    Help streamlining the bank acct admin across the various banking providers
•    Have frequent contact with Regional Treasury Services Teams 
 

Cash Management
•    Run Direct Debit process
•    Manage Treasury invoices
•    Manage In House Cash agreements

Other
•    Involved in internal and external audit process when required
•    Create and update Business Partners and their SSIs in SAP
•    Assist in Treasury Projects when required
•    Manage and reply to inquiries from external and internal stakeholders
•    Create various (ad-hoc) reports for management
•    Act as a standard back-up for Treasury Operations Analyst and occasionally for Cash managers, EMEA

Min. Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree required, with a major in Business, Accounting, Finance or similar field preferred.
•    4+ years of experience in Treasury or Finance.
•    Good understanding of banking and experience with SAP Treasury module
•    Advanced Excel skills
•    Fluent English language skills, other language skills are preferred.
•    Well-organized, structured working approach
•    Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with a wide range of audiences, internally and externally
•    Strong focus on accuracy and detail 
•    Able to work under pressure in a company with an international culture
