A Day in the Life
Are you a curious, detail-oriented student eager to explore the world of data and international tax operations? Join LyondellBasell’s Tax Process Excellence & Data team and gain hands-on experience while contributing to the digital transformation of global tax processes.
- Tax Data Collection Support: assist in gathering key data for the Tax Department across North America and Europe – supporting external audits, quarterly & monthly close activities, and account reconciliations.
- Reporting & Documentation: help generate reports and create work instructions. Contribute ideas to streamline and standardize data collection processes. Document data needs and identify process interdependencies.
- Process Improvement: share feedback and ideas to enhance reporting tools, workflows, and communication strategies.
- Team Collaboration: work closely with tax experts and cross-functional teams. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve data accuracy and accessibility.
You Bring This Value
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with Excel and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Power BI or Alteryx is a plus.
- Interest in financial data processes and digital transformation, analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Availability of at least 20 hours per week, with flexible working hours between 9 AM and 7 PM.
