Basic Function

The Enterprise Info Engineer, Specialist will work within a team of experienced technical professionals to provide technical support and assistance to Documentum, InfoArchive and Records Management users. The position reports to the Manager of Enterprise Information Management (EIM). 

This individual will be responsible for design, development and execution of product implementations within the EIM application portfolio space. The Enterprise Info Engineer, Specialist must be proficient in Project Management disciplines from requirements gathering through implementation of the functional/technical solution. This individual advocates for their clients and acts as the single point of contact for incident management, new service requests and implementations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide customer-oriented support and troubleshooting for InfoArchive, Documentum and Records Management user issues.
  • Develop product documentation, technical/architectural designs, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Proficient at management of incidents, problems and changes through company’s IT Service Management Platform (ServiceNow).
  • Perform EIM application administration, monitoring and verification tasks.
  • Help define, create and modify retention policies.
  • Provide archiving solutions by assisting clients with defining search criteria and building queries for data retrieval.
  • Define, maintain and implement long-term technology roadmaps that reflect IT’s strategic direction.
  • Maintain product knowledge base and conduct training sessions for the after-hours support staff.
  • Test existing and new EIM applications and Records Management functionality.
  • Work within a team of EIM SMEs and collaborate with 3rd party vendors on implementing solutions which manage the creation, capture, use and eventual lifecycle of structured and unstructured data. 
  • Provide oral and written report to technical and project management.
  • Create project documentation.

Min. Qualifications

  • Understands Enterprise Information Management processes.
  • Has functional and technical support experience with OpenText products, Records Management.
  • Multiple domain experience in systems analysis, defining technical requirements, and performing high level design for complex solutions.
  • Experience in roles with high level of client or end-user engagement.
  • Leadership, Communication and Relationship demonstrating outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to contribute and review architectures and designs.
  • Value oriented, understands technology is a tool with overriding goal of business success.
  • Partners closely with business partners to analyze new projects and readiness for governance decisions and provides transparency of portfolio investments.
  • Communicate and defend IT policies and standards and understand how IT services benefit the business.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or related field of study.
  • Background in mergers, acquisitions or divesture activities a plus.
  • Experience with agile and product management processes.
  • Azure or other Cloud Computing solutions
  • Experience in the Petrochemical Industry with strong business acumen.
