The job exists to provide a full engineering service to production and site facilities including reactive, predictive and preventative maintenance, Electrical and mechanical on all equipment, while maintaining company health & safety policies & standards at all times over a three shift pattern Monday - Friday.

Technicians also carry out modifications to the existing equipment and the installation of new equipment.  The job exists to provide a full engineering service Also technicians will be required to carry out installation and modification work of new and existing equipment.

A Day in the Life

Preventative Maintenance

Breakdown repairs

Installation of new equipment and modifications to the existing equipment

Preventative Maintenance planning and delegation through SAP

To provide support for improvements to the plant efficiency and productivity.

Assist with maintaining the highest quality possible for all our products.

Able to work alone and within a team environment

Must be able to fault find on all types of mechanical and electrical equipment.

You Bring This Value

Education:

Electrical apprenticeship to HNC/HND Level, with experience/knowledge of mechanical engineering aspects and 18th Edition Regs. The Snr maintenance technician has a higher technical knowledge and level of experience.

Able to work alone and within a team environment. 

Must be able to fault find on all types of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Must be able to communicate engineering and maintenance issues within the maintenance & production/operations team at all levels

Work Experience:

Has served a 4 yr apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years on the job experience. Electrical apprenticeship with experience/knowledge of mechanical engineering aspects. The Snr maintenance technician has a higher technical knowledge and level of experience

Competencies
