RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Take a plant round to identify, control, and correct unsafe practices and unsafe acts.

  2. Make sure that personnel working inside the site follow the site's Work Permit System.

  3. Take part in the site incident investigation process.

  4. Participate in Site HSES budget and HSES improvement project discussions.

  5. Update site OE procedures as per the requirements. 

  6. Implement HSES training programs and awareness communications.

  7. Manage the hazardous waste disposal process.
  8. Co-ordinate the environmental testing and reporting process.
  9. Support GSD and OCS events celebration at the site.
  10. Issue Purchase Requisition for HSES-related works.
  11. Providing PPE to departments and maintaining monthly stock. 

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Education:

  1. Minimum university degree holder preferred;
  2. Advanced Diploma in  Industrial Safety and Health issued by the Directorate of Industries (Preferred)

 

Work Experience:

  1. 1+ year experience in a similar position in Automotive/chemical manufacturing or environment or industries with a focus on Safety consciousness.

Skills:

Excellent communication skills and computer skills.

Languages:

Fluent in spoken & written English; Should speak Hindi, working knowledge of Marathi will be an added advantage
