Basic Function

Reporting to the M&A Integration Principal and responsible for the delivery of and functional integrity of the Plan to Produce area. 

 

The M&A Integration Analyst will work with the project and global teams and the delivery partner team to ensure deployment activity progress is to plan and all issues and risks are mitigated for their area. They are expected to have deep content knowledge of SAP applications in the area of plan to produce and will act as a bridge between the central IT team and the Asia based project team bringing an on-site functional analyst presence for the Asia region deployments. Assuming direct responsibility for the IT deployment activities, with particular emphasis on ensuring the consistency of the solution, design aspects of any required changes, and completeness of testing and data activities.
 

Roles & Responsibilities

Work with local business team to understand the local Production Planning, MRP and PPPI requirements and provide the technology to support these processes. Based on requirements submitted by the business, understand how they map to our standard solution and if any changes are required develop detailed functional and technical specifications for changes to the SAP ECC systems.

 

Additionally they will need to on occasion perform the following duties:

  • Understand and follow all relevant standard LyondellBasell IT processes and procedures.
  • Consult with ABAP developers and provide technical specs to develop customized solutions.
  • Consult with other custom code developers and provide technical specs for interfaced solutions.
  • Perform unit testing of changes (configuration, custom development, etc.) in development and staging environments, including regression testing of functionality that may be impacted by change.
  • Coordinate long chain testing where appropriate of changes (configuration, custom development, etc.) in development and staging environments.
  • Provide input and suggestions based on knowledge of area of responsibility.
  • Provide ad hoc training and knowledge to business super users as required in run and maintain activities, such as remedial training, issue resolution, etc.

Min. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 4-7 years of professional experience in a project or program organization
  • Executed various M&A integration and/or SAP projects in PP-PI area from start to finish
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in:
    • MRP in ECC using various MRP types and lot sizes
    • In-depth knowledge of PP-PI based Process Manufacturing – Process order processing and execution, shop floor control, Batch management and material movements.
    • PP-PI configuration and master data design/setup – resources, Master Recipe, Production Versions.
  • Balance of project management, conflict resolution and people management skills
  • Strong “service provider” and “business partner” orientation. A visible, collaborative and accessible leader to both the IT organization and the rest of the company.
  • Drives for continuous improvement, cost reduction and productivity of current and future systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and understand the needs of non-technical internal clients as well as different global cultures.
