Basic Function

The Sr. Product Analyst reports directly to Manager - SAP Order to Cash in the SAP CoE (Center of Excellence). This is a mid-career role responsible for driving technological innovations, best in class business solutions and stable operations around Order to Cash across global LyondellBasell (LYB) SAP initiatives. The position is within our high performing SAP CoE team of SAP professionals which ensures that cutting-edge SAP solutions are consistently delivered to meet business objectives and priorities.

The Sr. Product Analyst is expected to participate in envisioning, planning, designing, implementing and supporting end-to-end Order to Cash business processes.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of solutioning, implementation and support of order to cash processes in Sustainability focused global chemical industries.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Sr. Product Analyst – SAP Order to Cash will have following Roles and Responsibilities
Solution Ownership

  • Strong collaboration with IT Architects, Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts, service providers to establish high level designs meeting project requirements. 
  • Design, build, test and deploy complex end-to-end order to cash solutions that meet business requirements and are built with best-in-class industry standards.
  • Accountable for quality of solution designed & delivered on projects/operations working closely with project/program managers, business and service providers.
  • Accountable for cross module integrations with Order to Cash business processes as well as interfaces with external systems for the related process areas.
  • Maintaining cross functional business process domain knowledge
  • Accountable for availability of solution documentation including but not limited to design, test, interfaces, KB etc.
  • Ensure solutions designed and delivered are compliant with relevant SOX and security standards of LYB.

Governance

  • Ensure adherence of all project/operational initiatives to established best practices and standards for our SAP landscape.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage and mentor the ERP/SAP support team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Oversee the incidents to order to cash process area working with our service provider ensuring timely resolution of issues and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Analyze existing end-to-end Order to Cash process flows and identify areas for optimization, recommending and implementing best practices. Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery, reducing customization, reducing costs, and improving overall efficiency.
  • Track service performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement strategies for improvement to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure right level of knowledge transition from project to operations ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Technology leadership
  • Assist leadership team in building multi-year roadmap for the organization by aligning SAP technology with business goals.
  • Continue to upgrade and upskill knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and SAP innovations and utilize the same for delivering best in class solution.

Should be able to travel approximately 20% domestically and internationally.

Min. Qualifications

Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Management, Engineering, or other related discipline

Work Experience 

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP order to cash area as SAP Product Analyst with deep knowledge in the areas of but not limited to Contract & Order Management, Pricing, EDI, Output management, Trade Compliance, and interfaces to SAP preferably in chemical industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Projects with at least 2 end-to-end SAP S4 implementations – preferably on both public and private cloud.
  • 5+ years of relevant functional experience in any of the large multinational companies in one or more areas of sales, marketing, logistics etc. would be preferred.
  • Proven experience of working in global matrix organization.
  • Proven experience of working with service providers across the globe
  • Proven experience of tools and technologies used in testing, data migration, analytics to support the business function.
  • Languages English, additional language preferred
