Drafting Supervisor

Basic Function

This role drives continuous Drafting support at Global LYB site by leading the Drafting improvement initiatives and Smart Plant Setup & Administration. It carries responsibility for being an expert in site, corporate, and industry Drafting processes and ensuring adherence to these processes Globally.

Roles & Responsibilities

General

• Interacting with LYB sites to understand work
• Adherence to GP Mumbai ISO standards
• Adherence to Global/Site specific Drafting Process
• Preparing various reports as required in job
• Supervise contractor staff on job
• Requires expert level knowledge and experience in Drafting & SmartPlant; leverages work experience to expand capabilities

Area of Expertise, Requirements

• Thorough Knowledge of SmartPlant Setup & Administration of all Modules.
• Coordinates with the sites to ensure project scopes and designs meet LYB site standards and preferred practices
• Tracks status of work progress against initial project design milestones to drive schedule compliance
• Ensures adherence to site process requirements
• Knowledge of Drafting tools; AUTOCAD/ Micro-station/AutoCAD Plant 3D/Smart Plant 3D/PDMS/E3D
• Review of Drawings for quality checks.
• Knowledge of relevant standards & codes.
• Ability to plan resources and estimate jobs in drafting areas.
• Be able to manage direct communication with customer and provide support.

Min. Qualifications

Education

• Diploma or Degree in any field

Work Experience

• Min 12-18 years’ experience in Drafting
• Languages English, additional language preferred

Other skills

• Experience processing laserscan data.
• Excellent communication skills with various teams and stakeholders as required or preferred
