Turnaround Operations Lead

For our German site in Münchsmünster we are looking for a

Site Turnaround Operations Lead (m/f/d) 

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Act as interface between global TA group and site team and is part of the Turnaround Core Team
• Supports the team work and success of the site team and global TA group
• Defines Turnaround scope, create and check work packages and procedures
• Leads TA operations team to prepare the TA, shutdown and restart the plant
• Creates a detailed information package for the shifts. This should include:
  • Emptying procedures and tools
  • P&ID preparation
  • Shutdown & Start-Up Planning
• Takes care of training, onboarding of coordinators in the TA
• Ensures an empty and clean plant handover to the maintenance team
• Assists the Turnaround Manager and Operations Manager as needed to achieve on-time deliverables in support of the Turnaround Excellence Model
• Provides information for progress reporting and monitoring of key performance indicators and metrics for assigned turnaround engineering projects and site projects
• Supports and collaborates in continuous improvement efforts related to turnaround processes
• Carries out responsibilities in a way that fosters a safe and productive work environment and provides leadership to enable the organization to achieve GoalZERO HSE performance
• Take over critical tasks while TA execution (jump in)

Qualifications

• University degree in chemical/mechanical  or process engineering or
• Significant experience (min. 10 years) petrochemical industry (steam cracker)
• General knowledge of project management and maintenance engineering
• Knowledge of construction and maintenance practices and general, technical understanding  of the specifications, codes and standard quality control inspections that would be applicable to turnaround work
• Fluency German and English skills
• High level of personal drive for results and own initiative
• Good communication skills and networker
