Logistics Specialist

Basic Function

The purpose of the job for this position is to manage the regional SOW/HUB shipments in Asia, as the focal point to monitoring the carriers performance and the warehouse operation in Asia, take responsibilities for inventory report, master management , invoice checking and payment application.

Roles & Responsibilities

1)            Manage region Sales on the Water (SOW) and HUB volumes & coordinate with sales and customer service to ensure materials get sold prior to reaching destination ports.

2)            Manage warehouse provider and the products movements in bonded and non- bonded warehouse in Asia region. 

3)            Suggest and drive business improvement processes for logistics related activities through working with Business Processes, compliance, customer service and sales.

4)            Provide inputs and assistance to CS, sales and customers as required from time to time.

5)            Follow the company’s rules and policies.

6)            As the backup to other logistics operation positions

Min. Qualifications

Education:

University graduate with a degree in International trading /Logistics, Business, or equivalent  

 

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in international trade or other business related
