This is the role

 

 

As HR Businesspartner at our Manufacturing Site Maasvlakte you will have multiple and diverse challenges on tactical and operational level to support the business realizing their goals and objectives. 
You will function as an independent business partner, supporting (Sr) line management and employees at the Maasvlakte and Botlek site on day to day HR activities. Together with the HR Manager, end-responsible for both the Botlek and Maasvlakte (BoMa), you will work on the HR Ambitions and HR agenda for medium and long term. You will be supported by an HR Assistant, dedicated to the Manufacturing Sites.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Provide one point of contact for HR business partnering at tactical and operational level;
  • Counsel to managers and proactively anticipate and address HR challenges impacting the business;
  • Plan and coordinate internal and external recruitment, working together with the Recruitment Specialist(s) in Rotterdam. This includes participating in interview process and ownership of job offer process. Organize and implement internal moves and Set up new hire employment agreements in close cooperation with the HR Assistant;
  • Support staff planning, work on talent management and succession planning;
  • Support the HR Manager in all annual HR processes e.g.:  Continuous Performance Management, Competence Management, Alignment Sessions, STI, merit planning, etc.;
  • Responsible for the input and Data Quality of the administration in MyConnection/SAP (together with the HR Assistant). Prepare and compile HR data for reports and statistics;
  • Implementation and administration of individual improvement plans, exploring opportunities in performance management;
  • Management and follow-up of sickness cases, including dealing with the Occupational Health services and coordinating with the relevant manager;
  • Participation in HR projects on local, national or international level, e.g. employee engagement, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

You could be characterized by an ambitious self-starting, assertive and enthusiastic person. You have the ability to communicate easily with all levels of employees from front line employees to mid management. You are used to prioritize and to work in a matrix reporting structure. With your excellent team working skills and ability to multi-task you manage to solve problems with a strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up.

This is what you bring

 

  • Bachelor's or Master degree with a strong interest in Human Resources.
  • You have experience in HR fundamentals and understanding of Dutch employment laws
  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner/Advisor
  • Working knowledge of SAP, SuccessFactors is a plus
  • Interested in working in a manufacturing environment
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
